John Joseph of Cro-Mags to release new material

By Ben Tipple

John Joseph, founding member and on-off vocalist of influential hardcore outfit Cro-Mags, has informed fans that he will be releasing material with a new band in 2016.

“Back in 1981 when I started singing in the Cro-Mags and Bloodclot – it was not for fame or money – it was a raw feeling – a sense of urgency – a need to be part of this tribe that I first picked up a microphone with the blessing of the Godfather himself – HR,” Joseph posted on Facebook.

“Well, I ain’t rich and most people don’t know who the hell I am. But you know what? I don’t give a f*ck because that’s not why I started this journey – 35 years later I still got that same feeling and urgency – so I continue. You see life is ALL about desire and taking action – On that note I will be dropping new music with a new band in 2016.”

We’ll keep you posted.
