John leaves Allister

By paul

Pop-punkers Allister have lost a member, after it was announced that John was quitting the band.

A statement on www.drivethrurecords.com reads: “Unfortunately, John from Allister has decided to leave the band in order to go back to college. His last show will be at The Metro in Chicago.

“We’ve known John for many years, and Allister is one of the first bands we signed (off of a demo, by the way), so we have a very special attachment. They were on our label when we had no employees and worked out of our garage, goddamnit!

“The brand new Allister CD “Last Stop Suburbia” is scheduled for release on August 6, and the band will still be playing on the DTR stage on the whole Warped Tour.

“Everyone at Drive-Thru wishes you the best of luck, John! We love you. Love you John, miss you. Miss you every day.”
