John Nolan – guitarist in Taking Back Sunday – has revealed a PledgeMusic campaign for the release of his solo record. The record marks his second solo full-length, as well as releases by Taking Back Sunday and other former project, Straylight Run.
Nolan is currently recording the record with Mike Sapone, who has also worked with Brand New and Crime In Stereo.
His pledge campaign offers access to posters, t-shirts, membership to the John Nolan Mixtape club and more. Additionally, 10% of all money raised will be donated to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“Making an album this way has been a unique experience for me,” Nolan explains. “It’s been refreshing to get outside of the label system and connect more directly with fans during the making of an album. It’s also been great to have the support system that PledgeMusic offers throughout the whole process.”
