Ataris head honcho Kris Roe has branched out into the world of management after announcing he has taken two new bands under his wing.
Kris, currently holed up in the studio writing the Ataris first record for Columbia, posted the news on the bands website, www.ataris.com
He wrote: “Hey everyone, I am now managing two bands… The Go Reflex from tempe,az who sound like a cross between jimmy eat world and Ben Folds with a hint of Get up kids – it is the old drummer songwriter of Pollen’s new band.
“And secondly Breakdance Vietnam from Redlands,CA. who are kinda like Saves the day meets Avail and Grade. They are going to be on tour with Blink 182 and Green Day on the Pop Disaster tour starting in Irvine,CA… But you need to go to Chain Reaction in Anaheim,CA this Friday @ 8pm sharp and check them out for yourself! This is also the band Rudiger’s C.D. release party so go out early and show your support, I promise you will like this band alot, you will be hearing alot more from both of these bands real soon, so keep your ears open, mp3’s coming soon!!!”
