Landmarks stream new track, ‘Cutting Strings’

Manchester outfit Landmarks have unveiled their new track, ‘Cutting Strings’. The song will appear on the newly announced ‘In Spite Of It All’ EP, due via Scylla Records on the 12th August.

“We wanted to strike a balance between the pop-punk band we began as, and the alt-rock influences that began showing up more and more in our songwriting,” bassist and vocalist Adam explains of the EP. β€œThe deeper, darker side to our songwriting is more prominent than ever, with melancholy songs like ‘Limb From Limb’ and the temper-fuelled ‘With Clarity’, which is probably the most mature song we have written to date.”

‘In Spite Of It All’, Adam continues, showcases the band’s motto borne out of obstacles placed in their path; not least the theft of equipment from the studio in which the EP was recorded.
