Longineu Parsons splits from Yellowcard

By Ben Tipple

After 17 years of playing with Yellowcard, drummer Longineu Parsons has decided to move on to new pastures.

“Longineu has decided to pursue other musical interests. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors,” the band commented on Facebook. The statement continues to mention that a replacement is yet to be announced.

The change leaves Sean Mackin as the only original member of the band, as vocalist Ryan Key joined after the band’s debut, ‘Midget Tossing’.

Parsons helped form the band while in high-school.
