Math-pop outfit Enemies reveal first track in two years

By Ben Tipple

Mixing post-rock and math-pop, Irish outfit Enemies have unveiled the video for their first new track in over two years. ‘Play Fire’ marks their first release since their sophomore release, ‘Embark, Embrace’.

“‘Play Fire’ is our take on pop music; it was this idea of getting as far away from our comfort zone as possible, without losing what makes us Enemies,” guitarist Lewis Jackson explains. “The new record feels like we’re moving away from what we know. It hasn’t been an easy process, but no album should be.”

The single will be released on the 18th September 2015 via Topshelf Records (US) and Heavyweight Records (EU).
