With the first Might As Well Fest done and dusted, the people behind the event have launched a promotions company under the same name.
Driven by the charity ethos inspired by Might As Well Fest headliners Astpai, the team are pushing the idea forward. “We had a great time on the day and subsequently decided that we’d take that ethos a little further in the future, and specifically make Might As Well something people can work on together as a neutral brand for charity shows,” co-founder Tom Aylott says in a lengthy statement.
Completed by John from Disconnect Disconnect, and Adrian Storry of What Ever Happened To P Rock?, Might As Well have big things planned.
“John, Adrian and I are working on Might As Well Fest II, which will be happening in Spring 2016. We’re currently looking at the lineup and we’ll be announcing a date and venue soon. For those that came down the other week, expect similar vibes to the last one,” Aylott continues.
“If you’re interested in playing OR if you’ve got a suggestion for a charity or a show you think might fit under this umbrella (we’re not going to be limited to the all dayers) OR if you think you’d like to join in or help with Might As Well, please get in touch.”
