MxPx do Scooby Do theme!

By paul

Bremerton punks MxPx have been given the ‘honour’ of performing the theme song for the forthcoming Scooby Do movie.

The film, a re-make of the hit cartoon, features the likes of Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. But it seems as though Mike Herrera and co could be set for a shot at the big time with the song.

‘Scooby Do, Where Are You?’ is the title of the song, which will feature on the Lava/Atlantic soundtrack to the Scooby Doo movie, out on June 6th.

Tracks by Shaggy, OutKast, Lil’Romeo, Sugar Ray, Uncle Kracker with Busta Rhymes, Kylie Minogue, The Baha Men and others will appear alongside the band…

Does this mean we shall see MxPx on MTV?

In other news the band have just shot a video in LA with Mark Osborne (Project 86, Ill Harmonics, Dogwood) for the song “My Mistake” from the newly released ‘Ten Years And Running’.
