Following various web sites citing a bust up between East Coast emo crew Saves The Day and pop-punkers New Found Glory, Jordan and the boys have issued a statement on their website, www.newfoundglory.com playing down the so-called rivalry.
It all stemmed from a video which showed NFG vocalist Jordan mimicking Saves The Day frontman Chris Conley, following a scene in the video for their new single, ‘At Your Funeral’.
NFG said: “Hey everyone, we have been friends with Saves The Day for years and for those who don’t know we have done many tours with them as well.
“We know some people have been trying to make the clip of Jordan imitating their video into a big deal. Sorry, there is no gossip to spread. There is no war.
“We have always been and are still friends and huge fans. We can understand the confusion some people might have been having, and for anyone that enjoys drama, please lighten up.
“If and when Saves the Day see the clip we’re sure we will be recieving a phone call from them on how amused they were.
“Sorry you were unaware of our fun, friendly relationship.
