Otherwise confirm split

As we told you last week, Otherwise have decided to call it quits. The band have released the following statement: “Hello – just a note to say that after over four and a bit years of doing “the” band, we’ve decided to call ‘it’ a day, and after our Summer 03 tour round Europe with Kids Near Water, we’ll no longer be playing. These are monumental times. We’d always hoped that we’d split as a result of internal wranglings, but as Marlon Brando once said, “that’s not the case”. We’d all really like to thank everyone who’s helped us out in any way, all your efforts are greatly appreciated. thanks, from the people who used to play in a band called OTHERWISE. May 99 – June 03.”
