Parquet Courts stream ‘Instant Disassembly’

By Ben Tipple

Parquet Courts combine American indie with a healthy dose of punk sensibilities, and more than a little humour. 2012’s ‘Light Up Gold’ – which saw a 2013 reissue – delivered short, sharp tracks with a distinctive DIY feel.

With their follow up, entitled ‘Sunbathing Animal’, scheduled for release on the 2nd of June (UK via Rough Trade), the band have released ‘Instant Disassembly’. Coming in at just over 7 minutes, it’s a slight departure for the band into new territory, but still very much Parquet Courts.

Parquet Courts will be undertaking a small run of UK dates next month.
