Launching into its 20th year from the 4th to the 7th August 2016, Rebellion Festival in Blackpool (UK) have revealed the full line-up, stage-times and a few added extras.
Angelic Upstarts are the latest act to join the bill, which already boasts Descendents, Buzzcocks, The Damned, Dag Nasty, Agnostic Front, Off With Their Heads, PEARS, Gnarwolves, Flag, Bouncing Souls and loads more.
Organisers have also confirmed a series of live Q+As taking place at the city’s Opera House. Among the extensive schedule, Jello Biafra will be taking part in a live interview, as will acclaimed film maker Don Letts, ex-Fall guitarist Brix Smith, Dictators NYC frontman Dick Manitoba and more.
The full-line up for both the Opera House and the festival’s other stages is available on the Rebellion Festival website.
Speaking of their only UK headline show this year, Descendents vocalist Milo Aukerman says: “The Descendents have never played Rebellion Festival, so we’re psyched to rock Blackpool for the first time! Along with our classic material, we will be playing songs from our new record, ‘Hypercaffium Spazzinate’. That’s right; folks get to hear some new Descendents music! The four-day Rebellion lineup is amazing; I wish we could stick around for the whole thing. On that first day, I’m looking forward to seeing Pears, the Dwarves, Gnarwolves, and Off With Their Heads. It should be a blast; see you there!”
