Sonic Boom Six – ‘Sonic Boom Six’

First up, Sonic Boom Six’s new self-titled effort is the band’s most ambitious to date. We’ve had some more face time than usual with the boom over this summer, and it’s great to see them on top form!

Godspeed You! Black Emperor – ‘Allelujah! Don’t Bend! Ascend!’
(Constellation)
Godspeed You! Black Emperor return with their first album in ten years after their reunion in 2010. The Canadian post rock mob have been much missed with this, their sixth studio album clocking in with four tracks and a running length of over 50 minutes.

Anberlin – ‘Vital’
(Universal Republic)
Anberlin are back with ‘Vital’ their follow up to 2010’s ‘Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place’ the Florida based alternative rock quintet have sold well over 700,000 and this looks set to add even more to that impressive haul.

Canadian punks make release their long awaited debut album. Known for their ferocious live shows, this record translates well. Get on this sooner rather than later

Less Than Jake – Greetings and Salutations

Ska punk heroes, Less Than Jake release the compilation album ‘Greetings and Salutations’ an album covering their last two EP releases along with two new tracks to keep up the appetite of their fans.

We Are The Physics – Your Friend, The Atom
(This is Fake DIY)
Glasgow based indie rockers We Are The Physics release the much awaited ‘Your Friend, The Atom’ currently on tour with We Were Promised Jetpacks and with many tour dates to come, it looks like a very busy year to come for the boys.
