Red hot swedish

Taken from the BSM mailout: “Have you ever noticed how many good bands there are from Sweden? No? Well myself and Rich from If God Loves Records (www.ifgodlovesrecords.tk) did, and that’s why we came up with ‘Svenskt’. ‘Svenskt’ brings together some of our favourite bands and solo artists from Sweden and showcases their splendour, diversity and undeniable quality in the space of one 18 track CD. Whether it’s the beautiful post-rock from JENIFEREVER and EF, the gloriously happy summer pop of MOONBABIES and SUBURBAN KIDS WITH BIBLICAL NAMES, the spiky post-punk of ALARMA MAN, TRAKTOR and THE SOUND OE, the charming melodies of LAST DAYS OF APRIL, AUDREY and LOGH or any of the other Scandanavian masterpieces on show here, I’m sure there’s something for everyone to fall in love with. The compilation will be released via Big Scary Monsters Records on 16th October and you will find the full tracklisting and other info over at www.myspace.com/svenskt “
