Rose Coloured to release compilation following Summer Fest

By Ben Tipple

Record label and promoter Rose Coloured are set to release a compilation of new and underground music on Monday in support of the Forward 4 Wiz Trust.

Hosting tracks by bands who are local to, or have passed through, Surrey and Hampshire, the compilations features Freeze The Atlantic, Yearbook and Our Lost Infantry within the 17 tracks.

All money raised will be donated to the Forward 4 Wiz Trust, which aims to support young grassroots musicians to achieve their full potential. It was founded following the sudden death of Serpico and Ipanema founder Darren ‘Wiz’ Brown.

The compilation arrives shortly after this Friday’s Summer Fest at Guildford’s Boileroom. 8 local acts will take the stage at the threatened venue. The Boileroom is currently facing licensing disputes following complaints by neighbours.
