Seetickets respond to anger over Fall Out Boy tickets

By Tom Aylott

Seetickets have responded to a backlash over Fall Out Boy tickets for the Underworld in Camden seemingly go on sale pre-9am.

The statement probably wont appease people that are dissapointed at missing out on tickets, but it really is every man for themselves in these sorts of situations. Perhaps 9:00am should mean 9:00am though…

Good Morning all,

We just want to acknowledge that a lot of people are unhappy at being unable to purchase tickets for Fall Out Boy today, unfortunately huge demand exceeded capacity meaning that the small number of tickets we had sold out almost immediately.

We wish every person that wanted to go to the gig could but as the venue is so small it just isn’t possible.

All tickets sold for the gig are for collection and require photo ID of the buyer in order for them to be collected, this is in place to attempt to stop the re-sale of tickets at inflated prices, meaning those lucky enough to purchase tickets will be using them – the intention is that the tickets go direct to genuine fans.

The sheer volume of people wanting to attend this gig mean that a lot of people (A LOT!) have been left disappointed today and we really wish every single one of you could attend the show!
