Hailing from Birmingham, melody infused metal six-piece Sirens have released the video for ‘Notches’ from their forthcoming EP ‘Resistant To Change | Destined To Fail’, due for release on June 30th 2014.
Mixing brutality and the occasional melody, ‘Notches’ showcases Sirens as something more than your average metalcore. The melody, while never distracting from the intensity of the high-paced drum patterns or destructive riffs, manages to avoid clichéd territory – reminiscent of the likes of Devil Sold His Soul.
The band have already enjoyed support slots for Heights, Palm Reader, While She Sleeps and the aforementioned Devil Sold His Soul amongst others. Sirens also have a small number of future shows lined-up.
