Slam Dunk North in Leeds, scheduled to take place across stages in Millennium Square, the O2 Academy and Leeds Beckett University, have announced an absolutely huge after-party.
4000 festival goers will gain access to the city’s First Direct Arena. It marks the first time the Arena has been used for such a purpose, and sees both the Arena and festival organisers in talks with the Guiness Book of World Records for the biggest rock club night ever.
“With the festival moving to a new location there has been much speculation over the location of the infamous afterparty,” organiser Ben Ray explains. “We are proud now to announce something we have been putting together for some time. The afterparty will take place in the massive Leeds First Direct Arena. With over 4000 people set to be rocking out to some of the biggest rock anthems, the event is set to possibly be the biggest rock club night the UK has ever seen! We are even in contact with the Guinness World Records to see if we can set an official record!?”
Tickets for the festival, as well as Slam Dunk South and Slam Dunk Midlands can be found via the festival website.
Slam Dunk North will take place on the 23rd May 2015, followed by South on the 24th and Midlands on the 25th. All three will be headlined by You Me At Six, joined by a whole host of alternative artists.
