Starting Line put back studio date

By paul

Drive Thru pop-punkers The Starting Line have posted a message on their official website explaining the reasons for the delay in starting the recording of their new CD.

It goes a little something like this: “Sorry that it’s been so long since we’ve updated the news…and we promise not to let that happen again!

“As most of you know, we were supposed to go into the studio with Mark Trombino (Blink 182, Jimmy Eat World) at the beginning of the month. But due to reasons way beyond our control, the start date got pushed back until January 28th…which left us in a tough situation because of the upcoming tour with Further Seems Forever and Recover.

“But ultimately, we decided it would be best to cancel the dates and work on the record because we’re really eager to get it out and Mark is a very busy guy, which didn’t leave us with many options. So we apologize to anyone who was looking forward to seeing us and we promise we’ll make it up to you and then some.

“Oh yeah, you should definitely go to the shows anyway…because the bands rock and Brand New is taking our place…and they’re one of the most incredible bands ever.

“Also, we just confirmed that we’re doing the Drive Thru Records stage on the entire Warped Tour this year…and you have no idea how excited we are!!! So many great bands are playing, so hopefully this years will be better than any other!

“We’ll keep you updated on how the stuff in the studio is turning out and send you guys and girls lots of pics and stuff!
thanks!!!

Matt”
