Sticks and stones go for Glory

Pop punk favourites New Found Glory are to release their third full length album in the UK on June 18.

It will be entitled “Sticks and Stones” and will be released on Drive Thru Records in the US on June 11.

A new NFG song ‘The Minute I Met You’, which is also on the ‘Clockstoppers’ movie soundtrack, is expected to feature on the album. Having heard the track I can say that it’s very similar in style to their last record.

The band will preceed this release with their third UK tour within a year.

The dates are:
01_05_2002 The Bristol Academy Bristol
02_05_2002 Forum London
03_05_2002 Sheffield Octagon Sheffield
04_05_2002 Royal Court Theatre Liverpool
06_05_2002 Barrowlands Glasgow
07_05_2002 Leicester University Leicester
08_05_2002 Norwich U.E.A Norwich
09_05_2002 Southapmton Guildhall Southampton

The band have also stated that they will not be returning to the UK during June, July or early August, ruling out a performance at the Nottingham and Manchester festivals that have been recently announced.

But curiously, their diary is currently free for the August Bank Holiday weekend, when they could appear at the Carling Festival…
