As you may have noticed, here at Punktastic we tend to focus very much in the now, not really delving into the past to look at too many classic albums.
So we thought we’d let you know about another punk site who do exactly that…
Our friends over at the US site www.pastepunk.com have started out a new feature called Past Punk, taking a retrospective look at some of the albums which influenced many of today’s bands.
Our good friend ‘Slick’ Nick has taken a step back and looked at albums by the likes of Bad Religion, The Ramones, The Queers and Screeching Weasel.
It’s a very interesting and informative read and well worth checking out if you want to read about the band’s that influenced the people we focus on here at Punktastic.
