Ten new bands for Slam Dunk, Punktastic stage returns and Slam Dunkumentary 2011 now live

By Tom Aylott

We’re happy to announce today that Slam Dunk festival North & South 2012 have bolstered their line up with ten new bands.

The bands that are announced today are headed up by a revitalised Gallows, who join the festival with new vocalist Wade McNeil. Representing UK skacore are scene heroes Capdown and Keighley’s very own Random Hand, and also due to appear and announced today are Sharks, Straight Lines, Misser, Acoda, Our Time Down Here, Neil Starr and Hildamay.

Because we like to tie all the good news in together, we can also happily announce that Punktastic will be hosting the acoustic stage again this year, which features Charlie Simpson at the top of the bill on both days. It was an absolute blast last year, and we’re sure it’ll be the same this time around.

Lastly, we made a film with Trifecta Films last year at Slam Dunk North, and today we’re finally able to unveil it! Check it out on YouTube.
