My Favourite Co-Pilot release their new EP ‘When All Your Hopes Fall’ on BSM Records on July 7. The follow-up to the awesome ‘South Drive’ has been described as ‘straight up, aggressive and melodic’ by frontman John Hoy-Taylor. John added: “Track one is called ‘Cadence and Close’ and it’s about meeting someone who really makes you want to know them better in every way, so therefore makes you feel like a better person for knowing them. Track two is called ‘Note To Self’ and it’s about not giving in when things get tough in life. It’s about focus and going for what you want in life. Track three is called ‘String Of Faulted Prose’ and another song about focus and working hard for what you want in life. In comparison to ‘South Drive’ it’s not a million miles away from that sound but the new EP showcases new ideas and sentiment that wasn’t on the last CD.” To read more about the new record, and more on the band, you’ll have to read the next issue of Big Cheese…
