The Gospel Youth launch crowd funding campaign with two new singles

By Ben Tipple

Brighton pop-rockers The Gospel Youth are launching into 2016 with two brand new tracks, both of which are accompanied by official videos.

“‘Resolutions’ and ‘DST’ are a lot darker and probably a lot more bitter than anything anyone’s heard from us,” says vocalist Sam Little, “but I think it’s the best we’ve ever sounded and we’re so excited to finally release them.”

The tracks kick off a single series, supported in-part by The Gospel Youth’s crowd-funding campaign.

“We’re trying something a little different for our second year as a band, something that means we’re basically putting our future in the hands of our fans,” Little continues. “Even though we’re writing new material all the time, going into a studio and recording debut album felt like a mountain to climb when we started speaking about it, and we felt that releasing music gradually suits the way that we operate as a band – it also means the music gets to mature and grow with us. We wanted to give the people that believe in this as much as we do the opportunity to make a real difference, and we think we’ve put together that’s totally worth getting involved in.”

For more details on the campaign, and to get involved, head to the Gospel Youth’s website.

Until then, check out the two new tracks below, and the band’s forthcoming tour dates after that. The new 7″ release is available via Scylla Records.
