The Movielife share first track in 13 years

By Ben Tipple

Here’s a fun Friday treat for us all. The Movielife are streaming their first track since their final ‘Forty Hour Train Back to Penn’ release and breaking up back in 2003.

Speaking to Noisey, Vinnie Caruana – who also plays in I Am The Avalanche – hints that more new music is to come. “We definitely plan on continuing to write and share music, even if it’s just so we can spend time with one another and be creative together,” he says.

‘Future Feeling (Afraid of Drugs)’ has clearly been influenced by the band’s subsequent outfits, the aforementioned I Am The Avalanche, Nightmare of You and Heavy Rescue. It’s altogether grittier and heavier, but it hasn’t lost that Drive-Thru Records melody.

Head over to Noisey to hear the track now.
