Welsh folk-rockers The People The Poet have penned a song about everyone’s favourite piss-up night out, Christmas Eve. Written as an ode to their local pub The Bush Inn in Church Village, the song centres around joining their friends in a regular and joy filled reunion.
“It’s the biggest and best night of the year because everyone that moved away to London or wherever comes back for the holiday and we all meet there and make up for lost time,” the band explain to Wales Online, where the track premiered. “We’ve been going there as a group of friends since we were old enough to drink.”
‘Biggest Night Of The Year’ will be available from the 8th December 2014.
