Titus Andronicus reveal new track, ’69 Stones’

By Ben Tipple

Taken from this year’s ‘S+@DIUM ROCK: Five Nights at the Opera’ live album, Titus Andronicus have unveiled the previously unreleased ’69 Stones’ – an outtake from their ‘The Most Lamentable Tragedy’ record.

The country inspired track discusses “the weight that we all carry and the biological imperatives which keep us carrying it year after year,” singer and songwriter Patrick Stickles explains, “however arduous the task may seem. The same urges which keep our animal friends on the hunt motivate we humans too – perhaps this is also what keeps +@ on the road, compulsively rocking as we will do.”

The track and accompanying video are taken straight out of the live footage set to join ‘S+@DIUM ROCK’ from the 29th July. It follows the previously unveiled ‘I Lost My Mind’/’Fatal Flaw’ and ‘Sun Salutation’/’No Future Part V’.
