Two more acts for our stage at Slam Dunk Festival 2011

By Tom Aylott

Punktastic are proud and/or stoked to announce two further acts for our stage at this year’s Slam Dunk festival!

The first is a very special acoustic performance from boys we’ve been backing since we first heard them way back when our Un-Scene 5 compilation was released;

TIGER PLEASE

Their forthcoming album is one of the most highly anticipated of the coming year, and the band will be new performing material from the record and their two EPs to date ‘They Don’t Change Under Moonlight’ and ‘Seasons’ at Slam Dunk 2011. A must-see-event before the band explode!

Check out Tiger Please at their official website:http://www.tigerplease.co.uk/

Secondly, formerly of The Steal, currently of Pacer, and outstanding solo artist in his own right;

DAVE HOUSE

Three albums and splits with Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly and Jenny Owens Young under his belt, Dave’s acoustic material has seen countless living rooms and stages on both sides of the Atlantic, and it’ll be a now-rare outing that you won’t want to miss!

Check out and download piles of Dave’s material at his website: http://www.iknowdavehouse.co.uk/

This makes our stage look a little like this:

Lost On Campus
Sam Little
Dave House
Babar Luck
Tiger Please
The Lion & The wolf
Ghost Saddles
Jimmy Holland

Don’t say we don’t spoil you!

We’ll be unleashing the Slam Dunk area of our festivals section next week, so keep your eyes peeled for previews, stage times, and loads more info on one of the hottest weekends of the year! We’ll have special guests on the stage from other stages over the weekend, so make sure you check back right here for the info.
