The excellent Birmingham post-hardcore trio &U&I have returned with new track, ‘The Artist’. The song will appear on their highly anticipated new ‘Merci’ EP.
Despite not having released new material for some time, the band have been busy playing a number of festivals over the summer.
“The Artist’ was written purely by accident,” Thomas Peckett told Already Heard. “‘Merci’ was always only meant to be 3 songs but a couple of days before we were due to record, we went to our lock up to run through the record and ended up writing this song in like an hour and loved it! It’s rapidly gone from a song that we accidentally wrote to one that we absolutely love playing live.”
