Former Oceansize vocalist and touring guitarist for Biggy Clyro Mike Vennart will be releasing his debut solo album on the 22nd June 2015 under the moniker, Vennart. ‘The Demon Joke’ is the result of a successful Pledge Music campaign, and sees Vennart sign to Superball Records.
“I’m delighted to be back in the artsy bosom of Superball Records, the label imprint set up specifically for my old band, Oceansize,” Mike Vennart proclaims. “They take good care of me in the way that every record label should – by encouraging me to make the records I wanna make. It’s a simple and beautiful arrangement.”
To celebrate the announcement, Vennart is streaming the lead single ‘Infatuate’.
Vennart will also be heading on tour before playing 2000trees and Arctangent later in the year.
