Versus The World premiere new track, ‘A Brooklyn Rooftop’

By Ben Tipple

Veteran punk outfit Versus The World are streaming their new track, ‘A Brooklyn Rooftop’, via Alternative Press.

The track is taken from their forthcoming ‘Homesick/Roadsick’ LP, due on the 23rd June via Kung Fu Records.

“I literally wrote the words to this song on a rooftop in Brooklyn,” says Versus The World singer/guitarist Donald Spence. “I was visiting some friends in New York and we were passing around bottles, and catching up on some years we’d missed out on. I think everyone has people in their lives that they love, but time or distance, life in general really, has taken you to different places. It’s just important to remember that the only currency relationships really run on is time spent. So it’s a song about catching up. One of my favorite nights ever.”

Versus The World will join Strung Out on their European tour later this year, taking in 3 dates in the UK.
