Despite personal tragedy, and rumours they may quit, Voodoo Glow Skulls are not calling it a day. A band statement reads: “Let me clear some things up for all of you. We have been hearing rumors that we are breaking up and or calling it quits?! How could we be doing this when we have just done one of the most successful tours we have done in awhile?! Since we are about to take a break for about 3/4 months at home, we are actually gonna start writing some new tunes for the next possible VGS release! Sometimes we will admit to have thought about quitting or taking a long absence due to the fact that touring and living this lifestyle is frustrating and the music biz ain’t no picnic, but we love doing this way too much to let that happen. Besides with all the crap you hear on the radio and mtv we feel its our duty to represent the way we do! SO DEAL WITH IT. Instead we are already planning on writing yet another CD without even knowing what label will release it or if a label will even be interested in us!”
