Victory add new bands

By paul

Hardcore label Victory have announced four new signings to their already impressive roster.

Atreyu are all about sorrow, regret and revenge procreating in a dark lonely corner of your heart apparently. They fluidly balance sinister metallic riffs with technical finger tapping inflections. They are here to make extreme a little more accessible and emo a little more haunting and severe.

Starting on March 4, Atreyu will begin recording their first full length CD for Victory Records with producer Eric Rachel at Trax East Studios in NJ.

Finnish trio The Snowdogs are the second new signings. Founding brothers Ville and Mat Leppanen were born in Finland, spent some time as kids in the States and relocated permanently to South London where they formed their pop-punk trio Snowdogs in late ’97.

Third up are Long Island’s Taking Back Sunday. They’re apparently influenced by Fugazi and Saves The Day amongst others. They expect to release a new record in March.

Finally, hardcore band Dead To Fall complete the listing. Combining hardcore with an element of melody. They are set to record their new CD sometime during the Spring.
