We do listen to what you say (sometimes) so in a bid to get more gig reviews on the site, we are looking to ‘hire’ a specific reviewer. This person won’t become an ‘@punktastic’ (initially anyway) but will just toddle off to gigs and report back. Ideally this is a person who frequents a lot of gigs, preferably the London area, and is reasonably fluent with their lexicon. We will provide you with enough guestlist passes and free tickets to keep you occupied, so don’t worry about that. All we ask is you have an open mind and are willing to review gigs you otherwise wouldn’t have gone to. Ideally we would like 2 gigs a week – from the big arena shows to the small pub ones, so only apply if you’re up for some hard work. Fit the bill? Then email paul@punktastic.com with a very, very brief example of a live review (ie 100 words or less) and some kind of bio telling us about yourself and why you should join the magnificient seven staff members. If you have exams coming up then sadly you’re not much good to us, we need someone who will actually do some work on a regular basis…
