Wren announce split with Slabdragger plus weekender with Helpless and Watchcries

London post/noise metallers Wren have announced that they will be releasing a split EP with Slabdragger, entitled ‘Mothers of the Beef and the Magic of Invention’.

The release sees the band cover  Captain Beefheart’s ‘Electricity’, whilst Slabdragger take on Frank Zappa’s ‘Muffin Man’. It will be released on the 27th October via Holy Roar Records and can be pre-ordered here. It follows Wren’s debut album ‘Auburn Rule’, which was released in July, and Slabdragger’s 2016 album ‘Rise of the Dawncrusher’.

Wren have also announced that they will be playing a weekender with Helpless and Watchcries next week. You can info on these shows, as well as their upcoming festival appearances, below.
