Mike Petruccelli has been doing the rounds for a while now. Not only playing in Chicago stalwarts Rapids and Tens, he’s been hard at work following up 2013’s ‘No Refrain’ EP. In that time, Petruccelli has become something of a Chicago institution, I am reliably informed.

It’s easy to see why, with ‘Don’t Make This Weird’s eclectic musical prowess, moving from Into It. Over It. singer-songwriter beauty to pop-punk energy, demonstrating an unrelenting heap of pure passion. There are so many directions Petruccelli can take his sound based on his seven newest tracks, and I have no doubt that any of them would work out swimmingly.
