You’d be surprised how often things are compared to post-hardcore’s brilliant At The Drive-In, or European punk superstars Refused. So when LAGS arrived with those names attached, it was with slight trepidation that I pressed the play button. I needn’t have worried.

The Italians share some elements with those bands, but there’s something altogether more melodic and upbeat, without losing any of the urgency.
