Here at Punktastic we are exclusively sharing Dire Bloom’s video for their new single, ‘The Art of Giving Up’.
Taking inspiration from emo and pop punk influences respectively, the Leeds quintet describe the song as being “based around drifting away from someone, and watching them head down a destructive path – losing the ambition & desire they once had.”
Furthermore, the band elaborates, “The message of the song is to reinforce that it’s never too late to be the person you want to be, despite how far you’ve drifted from that & how naysayers may tell you.”
‘The Art of Giving Up’ is taken from Dire Bloom’s upcoming second EP, ‘Seasons’, which will be released on the 20th July. They will also be playing a record release show on the 29th July at The Key Club in Leeds, with Catch Fire, Coast to Coast and Safeguard.
