Before they head out on tour for most of April, Ducking Punches have put together a video for ‘Fun Fun Fun’ with our very own Steven Haddock. It is taken from their 2016 album, ‘Fizzy Brain’, and we are bringing you the first look at the video below.
“Steven Haddock has managed to capture the pure essence of the song perfectly in this beautifully shot, abstract narrative,” say the band of the video. “‘Fun Fun Fun’ touches on the overwhelming feeling of trying to grasp on to those last fragile footholes of youth, whilst responsibilities seem to prevent us from placing importance on our friendships. Often until it’s too late. What Steve has managed to convey is someone lost, someone who has to consistently loop into their own tragedies and has stagnated in their journey. He did a wonderful job. Also, mad props to Chris Coleshaw (formerly of Bad Ideas) for running and freezing in deepest, darkest Lincolnshire until he was nearly sick. We’ve left it open to interpretation, so take what you will from it. I’m just glad I didn’t have to break my leg for this one.”
‘Fizzy Brain’ is available now via Xtra Mile Recordings, and you can catch Ducking Punches at the dates below.
