Exclusive play of the new Faux video

By Ben Tipple

It’s been an exciting few weeks for Southampton based four-piece, Faux. Other than their (obvious highlight) performance opening the Punktastic Christmas Party at the Old Blue Last, the alt-rockers have been picked up by BBC Introducing and signed to Close To Home Records for the release of their debut EP, ‘Patterns’.

Taking in a range of genres, from The Killers style indie to Tellison and Johnny Foreigner’s unexpected time signature shifts, Faux have found themselves straddling a number of scenes. Having recently completed a tour with indie rockers MassMatiks, they have also ended up in the sights of Boston Manor and Nathan Detroit, amongst others.

With the release of ‘Patterns’ drawing closer, Faux have revealed the title track via a new feather-filled video. ‘Patterns’ will be released digitally on the 19th January 2015 via Close To Home Records, with physical copies available from the 23rd February.

Faux will be playing with Nathan Detroit and Actions to celebrate the release of the record.
