First play of Loose Planes’ tribute to Jawbreaker

By Ben Tipple

Sharing members with Make Do And Mend, Fireworks and Hampshire, Loose Planes present themselves as something of an indie supergroup. The four-piece released their self-titled EP back in July 2014 via 6131 Records, bringing together various elements that form the foundations of their more full-time endeavours.

Now Loose Planes have joined with a host of other artists including Hemingway, Lawnmower, Save Ends and Kid Brother Collective to record a tribute to the iconic Jawbreaker. ‘What’s The Score?’ will be released digitally on the 23rd June and physically on vinyl on the 28th July. Both will be available via Save Your Generation Records.

We are proud to exclusively stream Loose Planes’ contribution to the record, ‘Sea Foam Green’. The 1994 track did not originally appear on a Jawbreaker full-length, but surfaced on their b-side and rarities collection ‘Etc,’ in 2002, six years after the band called it a day.
