Scheduled for release on the 8th September 2014 via Grebo Records, we are pleased to reveal the new double A side by London based noise-duo Cassels.
‘We Wander The Night’/’Rinse and Retreat’ were both recorded in one afternoon session, and embody the scuzzy dark atmosphere that the relatively inexperienced duo create. Their sound is born out of desperation in living in a small town, sounding suitably claustrophobic and chaotic in sound and content, yet remaining surprisingly structured.
Formed of two brothers, Jim (20) and Loz Beck (17), Cassels are showing a wealth of promise at their comparably young age. Their previous release has already seen them picked up by BBC Introducing, and they recently secured a spot at this year’s Truck Festival.
The double A side is available to pre-order now. All pre-orders receive an instant download prior to the vinyl being despatched at the end of August or early September. Cassels will be hitting the road in support of the release, including a release show – details of which can be found on the official Facebook event page.
