First play of the new Hindsights track

By Ben Tipple

‘Cold Walls / Cloudy Eyes’, the forthcoming debut album by Maidenhead based alternative rockers Hindsights is fast shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases in early 2015. Their Apologies, I Have None-esque darker take on pop punk sprung forward on the previously revealed ‘Cold Walls’, whereas new track ‘Pensive’ further tones down the pop-punk influences. Instead the track is more introspective and morose, yet equally stunning.

‘Pensive’ was the first track panned by the band for the new album, and guides the rest of the record. It’s an immediate statement of intent, and one that should get mouths watering ahead of the full record release.

In celebration of the record, the band have announced a special headline show upstairs at The Garage in Highbury, London on the 17th February 2015. The band will be joined by Bad News, as well as others yet to be announced. Tickets will be available from tomorrow.

The show will follow their extensive tour alongside grunge outfit Milk Teeth.

‘Cold Walls / Cloudy Eyes’ will be available to pre-order from Thursday with limited edition vinyl available. The record will be released on the 23rd February 2015.
