First play of the new Leatherneck EP, ‘Lighting Up The Tilt Sign’

By Glen Bushell

Leatherneck are another great example of the grass roots, D.I.Y punk scene in the UK right now. They bring something a little different to the table on their new EP, ‘Lighting Up The Tilt Sign’, which we are exclusively premiering today.

“It was a real drawn out experience writing ‘Lighting Up The Tilt Sign,’” explain the band. “We’d not long introduced new members and were trying to nail down a firm direction for the band from a lot of new influences and ideas. Our writing changed a lot before the EP and has continued to do so, we are still evolving and finding our feet. The idea of being lost in an open space became the overruling theme, and this became reflective in the lyrics and music”
