First play of the new Missing The Action track, ‘Ariel’

By Ben Tipple

“We wrote our first tune to really show our sound,” says brand new Boston, Massachusetts based pop-punk five-piece Missing The Action about ‘Ariel’.

“All of us really grew up with that appreciation for punk and pop punk, I’m still an avid listener of Green Day and Simple Plan, and we just really felt it would be a lot of fun to make the music ourselves. Everyone’s got that bit of angst they never let go of, personally I don’t think you can. But when you just listen to the song, it’s something to sing along to, and feel that “who needs ’em” attitude!”

“We love the music, love playing it, and love the energy it gives to us, so we just wanted to try and give it back!”

With Missing The Action are gearing up to release their ‘Vacancy’ EP in the next few weeks, lead track ‘Ariel’ showcases their energetic and accomplished pop-punk. Comprising vocalist Sidney Red, guitarists Stephen Baker and David Fernandes, bassist Sean Egan and Sheik Estabrook on drums, Missing The Action are all set to make their mark on the pop-punk scene.
