With the release of his debut album scheduled for the 14th July, things are looking bright for Surrey based artist Thom Bowden. Initial tracks taken from ‘Searching The Brittle Light’ and his previous EP have drawn attention from major radio, earning comparisons to the likes of Fugazi and The White Stripes.
‘Control’, the fourth track from the impending album, showcases Bowden’s lo-fi, no thrills garage rock. His vocal cracks and wavering tones add an immediate DIY feel to the song, creating a clever balance between minimalist melody and an almost dirty vibe.
