Get rebellious with Deux Furieuses’ ‘Kill Us’

By Ben Tipple

‘Kill Us’, the fourth track by Glasgow and London duo Deux Furieuses, is one of empowerment and rebellion. Borne in frustration of hypocrisy and inequality, ‘Kill Us’ sees the duo fight for change in the face of adversity.

“‘Kill Us’ is a dark band anthem – they’re fighting with machine guns, we’re fighting with our hands – which resonated more after the events in Paris last November at the Bataclan,” they explain. “People don’t go to concerts to idolise rock stars, they go to connect with something bigger than themselves. Live music charges people’s spirit, like plugging into the socket. What are you gonna do, kill us all?”

‘Kill Us’ is taken from the band’s forthcoming debut album, ‘Tracks of Wire’, due on the 20th May 2016. Head over to iTunes to pre-order.
