Join the revolution in the new Halo Tora video

By Ben Tipple

Debut album ‘OmniOne’ has been a long time coming for Scottish progressive rockers Halo Tora. Despite having only previously released two singles, the record is a result of extensive touring and songwriting, designed to capture the expansive atmosphere that successfully dominates their new track, ‘Permanent Revolution’.

Drawing influence from Oceansize, Dredg and Karnivool, the balance between power and subtlety is commendable. The outcome is soaring and beautiful.

“‘Permanent Revolution’ is one of my favourite songs on the album because of how it’s built around a simple idea,” vocalist and guitarist Chris Alexander explains. “We chose to make a video for this track because of its impact and we felt the concept would transfer visually as well. It’s definitely a favourite of ours to play live!”

“This record really is a coming together of all our experiences and personalities and with that a license to explore places musically that we had never been as individuals,” he says about ‘OmniOne’. “It was great to be able to throw ourselves at it and watch it take shape.”

‘OmniOne’ will be available from the 4th September 2015. Find out more about Halo Tora via Facebook.
