This week we are honoured to be streaming the brand new EP from Chicago based singer-songwriter Mike Petruccelli. The EP follows his previous release ‘The Longest Day of my Life’ under the name Dead End Days while finishing college in Northeast Ohio.
Influenced by various artists from differing genres including David Bazan, The Appleseed Cast and Colossal, Petruccelli has created a beautifully subtle punk-infused acoustic EP, filled with personal stories. His vocals sit permanentely on the edge, occasionally teetering into more overt punk territory and channeling his days in a full band.
‘No Refrain’ is released digitally on the 3rd December 2013, with a full released planned for 2014. For now, check it out in the player below.
